Safety Tips

masulit.com is a free platform connecting buyers and sellers. While we work to keep our community safe, please follow these tips to protect yourself during transactions.

Important Reminder

masulit.com is not responsible for any transactions between buyers and sellers. All transactions are conducted at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to follow these safety guidelines.

Meet in a Safe Public Place

Always meet buyers or sellers in a well-lit, public location such as a mall, coffee shop, or police station. Never meet at your home or a secluded area.

Inspect Before You Pay

Always inspect the item thoroughly before handing over any money. Test electronics, check for damage, and verify that the item matches the listing description.

Be Careful with Payments

Prefer cash on delivery or meeting in person for payment. Be very cautious of sellers asking for advance payments, deposits, or GCash transfers before meeting.

Verify the Seller

Check the seller's profile, reviews, and ratings. Verified sellers have a blue badge. Don't hesitate to ask for more photos or a video call to verify the item.

Watch Out for Scams

If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Be wary of prices that are extremely low, sellers who refuse to meet in person, or buyers who offer to overpay.

Protect Your Personal Information

Never share your full address, bank account details, or government ID with strangers. Keep communication within the masulit.com platform when possible.
